Meh site is still giving me the shits with the last viewed thread thing not working...
4 diff computers, at work and home and phone so its gotta be something that changed here???

also now EVERY THREAD is showing as recent??? even shit that has not been active for MONTHS!
this is from the VIEW NEW CONTENT link on the top right??? anyone else?

All I can suggest is to change the way that link works.

Go to your Control Panel by clicking on your name up the top right, then selecting 'My Settings', or click here. Once you are there, scroll down until you see 'Search Settings'. Mine is currently set to 'Show all content since last visit'. Yours is probably set to 'Show me all content that I have not read'.

Change that and see how you go.

Also, new posts link should take you there - it might not anchor you to the correct point on the page though. Once the page has loaded, try click up in your address bar up the top and press enter again - see if that puts you at the right spot. I have noticed it does that sometimes with certain internet browsers. That jump to first unread post seems to be working A-OK for me, I use it all the time!

Would it be possible to have the pictures on the homepage resized a bit? Its broken the horizontal scroll quite badly... Thanks

Why is the search crap? For example if i search for "diy" or "d.i.y." which i know there is a few threads on, nothing shows up.

Has to be 4 or more letters. To search DIY add an * at the end and you should get some results...

There's a new version of the site software out, which has an improved search function amongst other things. I will let you all know when this will happen soon !

Is anyone else having issues getting to the "My Settings" link (top right, under profile drop down menu) or is it just me? I've tested in Firefox on two separate computers.

Also I think my time zone (or gaylight savings) is out of whack, but I can't get into settings to fix it.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

My setting works fine but I turned Daylight Saving off to correct the time.

Alright guys, looked in to the 'my settings' link not working.

Facebook connect.

Disabled for now. Site upgrades coming in the next day or two along with a faster host - and it seems to work fine on the updated site, so no facebook sign in / integration until then!

Alright guys.

Obviously home page has changed for now, no portal with the good links you are used to seeing. Won't be too long, but it will be back.

You may notice once you click 'post' that it will sit there and not reload, if that happens just click the back button, and refresh your page. Your post will be there.

New iPhone site layout is amazing, so much quicker too.

I haven't checked out the full version yet though.
