Hey guys,

So I’m looking to get back into the Subaru game and purchase a gen 3 that’s got a blown clutch.
Now I’m not super mechanically great but I have done some general work on cars.
So how hard is it to complete a clutch change, preferably without taking the gearbox out.
Or how much in labour would I be looking at to get this done, and where (located in Melbourne SE suburbs)
Thanks in advance

you have two choices.

Drop the gearbox or pull the engine.

Pulling the engine is pretty straightforward with a crane.
