Ive just bought a 2016 Outback 2.5 with 18 months warranty left to go. Is it ok to get my mechanic to use the Nulon synthetic oil, and a Ryco filter instead of Subaru oil and filter?

I would advise against it.

If the cause of anything covered by the warranty is not from using non-factory oil or filters, then you may be fine but that is dependant on manufacturer and their guidelines. But I personally wouldn't risk it.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.
