Recently I've been having some with issues with how my liberty has been running, it was hesitating, jerking an not giving a smooth delivery of power, i theorised it had to be fuel related, as i had cleaned out every single electronic connector when i had the pleasure of blowing my head gaskets an fixing things myself.

My mechanic diagnosed the problem as i had theorised, an replaced the injectors, plugs, as well as leads as mine were on their way out.

We went for a test drive, an even after all of the diagnosing, we still had the slightest hiccup when: changing gears, initial start up, as well as letting off the accelerator. My mechanic couldn't figure out the problem

Since then i have changed the fuel filter (black), thinking this would be my smoking gun, but still no result.

Can anyone shed some light onto this issue?

Could it be the fuel dampers? I haven't changed these yet.

any fault codes showing up? I'm not sure how to do it without an OBD cable but would be a good starting point!

no codes at all,

mechanic went over everything with a fine tooth comb.

There is only two things i haven't done myself an that's:

1. replace the catalytic converter (hearing rattling from a loose piece) as well as

2. those fuel damper valves.

Check/clean the idle air control valve (IACV). It will be dirty and not doing its job quick enough, hence stalling and stuttering.
