First off, please if I've posted this in the in correct place please move.
Now I will hopefully (if I can get someone in Bathurst that actually knows how to sell the correct gasket set) attempting this on the weekend on the forester.
For some reason a single side is called a 'set' (I would have assumed a 'set' meant all that is required be it left or right or quantity of 2.) Also I do love how automotive retail works for example;
a 'set' that contains spark plug tube seals, 5 bolt washer/rubbers, 1 large circle seal and 1 small circle seal.
Burson's; $112 (x2 would be $224) (may aswell get local Subaru dealer replace them minus sparkplugs)
Repco; $99 (x2 would be $198)
Autobarn; $89 (x2 would be $178)
And lastly Supercheap; $42 (x2 would be $84)
So SCA will be the winner but they have a RCG308KS on the shelf but say I require a RCG308K and after googling the KS variant says basically most if not all the SOHC 2.0 Boxer engine models known.
Does anyone know what the difference is?
Rocker / Valve Cover Gasket Replacement.

Hi and Welcome to SC.
Always go genuine Subaru with rocker cover gasket.
They do cost a bit but they don't leak if installed correctly.
This job is not one that you are going to want to do again, so do it right first time.
Everybody on here will say the same thing about using the Subaru parts.

if you have a week or so to wait - one source is partsouq.
I just bought rocker cover gaskets, all the bits for a timing belt change, and a some other bits and bobs.
The rocker cover gaskets (+ spark o-rings + bolt washer) came to USD$40 plus shipping
