Hey guys,
Weird question here i know.
Have poped one of my rear tyres last night, cant get a replacement tyre till next week. Im running 19x8 215/35zr at the moment. am i going to screw the diff if i put my old 18x8 235/40 zr on the rear wheels for the next few days till i can get a replacement tyre for my 19" ?
Smaller tyres on the rear ?

i think that should be all good, but i ran my spare which was a different size for a few months and didn't seem to have any problems..

Yeah, I think for a few days you should be fine.
FYI a 215/35-19 has a dia. of 633mm and a 235/40-18 has a dia. of 645mm.
A difference of around 2% (6mm radius difference) or about the same as a bald tyre compared to a new one.

Tyre manufactures change models and tread patterns (except the Bridgestone RE92!!!) all the fcuking time. I'm sure its just a marketing thing.
Bring back the TOYO 600F3 in 205/60-13 I say!!! Can't get anything good in that size anymore.
