Hey guys, I was just invited to a free half day skid pan day on Friday, how could I resist:)

The guys who ran it did a good job IMHO so I thought it may be a great thing to do if we could get the interest.

I have created a poll to gauge interest, no dates planned but we can go further with it if we get enough interest.

The days or half days are held at Eastern Creek skidpan which is a nice easy skidpan, not enough water for my liking but great to have a run on.
Sessions are structured and some events are timed just for some fun.
We did stuff like runs through a slalom course side by side with another car to the death (last one standing)
Clover leaf runs, and basic car control stuff.

Prices are $175 for half day or $350 for full day, I think these include lunch as well.

I have attached a divx video of me doing a basic course, ignore the comments on the vid though, I went the correct way :) honest.....
My crappy skidpan effort :)

Anyway, let us know your thoughts and we can go from there.

Regards
Paul

Hi Paul, I'd be keen for a skid pan day. My budget would allow for a $175 half-day course at max to be honest. I'm flexible in regards to when its held. Lets do this! :)

not trying to rain on your parade, but there have been previous events organised at the quenbean driver training facility, with driver training and a full day of driving for under $100 per entrant capped at 20 people. while its a further drive, the facility is way better imo and there is actually a circuit, not just a few cones. if you'd like to see more have a look in my youtube channel under 93tzlegacy

Update on this, I am currently talking to a company about putting together a specific driver training program for us which would run at the Marulan driver training centre which is pretty good from all accounts. Have a look here for somebodies drive, looks like a fun track Regards Paul
