Are you talking imaginary dyno torque that doesn't really mean a whole lot? :P

Be interesting to go for a run sometime with an Ecutek tuned B4 just to see how they compare on the road. Soo.... who's got Ecutek up here?

guys. its like saying a red haired kid runs faster than a brown haired kid. eflash is a form of OBDII tuning. ecutek is form of OBDII tuning. they're both essentially the same thing, with the same desired outcome. just marketed differently. comparing cars would depend on many other variables, including state of engine, kms travelled, state of turbos/mods/tranny/polariser crystals. you get my drift........yeah? buzz. enjoy that shizzle. that's an impressive curve. I'm happy for your result. I kinda miss my TT's  Then i spool up the GT2860R..... :diablo:

Firsty.... they do.. its fact red haired kids are much faster.....because they are red haired kids(I base this fact on no evidence at all)

im still in this moral dilemma. apart from lack of funds at the moment, i'm deciding either: a: put in eboost street, and put it on the dyno, tune boost and FPR for safe AFRs, and be happy. b: put in haltech, and put it on the dyno, tune EVERYTHING for safe AFR's, and live happily ever after without having to ever worry about stupid AFM's.

I'de be more inclined to save up a bit, and go with your haltech.... as you said you wont have to worry about anything then :D

Yeah I know what you mean with the different mods etc but was thinking that comparing them on the road would have to be more accurate than on different dyno's... Not trying to say ones better I just get inquisitive/have a thirst for knowledge with things like that.

TBH (and not trying to put shit on Ecutek at all) but if the same place offered both (Ezy-flash/Ecutek) for same $$ and Ecutek was more power I'd still go the Ezy-flash for the extra features (read/reset fault codes, live data, data logging, Valet mode).

And red-haired kids do run faster.... cos they get picked on more :sarcastic:

Blaeven would just so he can enjoy the attention....but thats an exception

just thought I'd post up the latest developments... as some would be aware I found some neg knock correction whilst doing some datalogging couple of weeks ago, got onto Chiptorque who requested the files. Sent the datalog file to them, the tuner (Rob) then checked over them and made new maps for me, no need for a re-visit, new maps were sent via email, download onto E/Flash unit and re-flash ECU took bout 10 mins. Did that last Friday arv, since then done lots more datalogging, no more neg knock correction, get boost even lower now... 3-4psi @ 12-1300rpm (that's right... 1200  ).
