well i use photoshop to free hand draw the outlines like in that frankenstein pic, i'll usually have a rough sketch that i freehand over the top off then i'll place it in illustrator then live trace it then colour it in illustrator

heres an example..

so pretty much i just use the rough sketch as a guide then just refine it using the brushes iv made make it so eash with the wacom pen its pressure sensitive to u can get a cool effect with the line work

oh and yeah the tablet is a wacom intuos 4 :D

so good

Hi, Thanks for the posts Cam. That is truly awesome. I've always wanted to be able to digitize my sketches - I might have to look into it again. Probably too expensive for a home user? Still trying to find the damn scanner cables so I can keep adding to this thread. Cheers, Nik

i have a mac book at home and a wacom but all you need is a computer and the adobe programs they are expensive but there are ways around it ;) i think the tablet i use at work is around $500 the one at home was around $300,

but you can get other cheaper brands that still work just dont have all the fancy buit ins

i got a acecad tablet for around $30 at a computer fair ..

..

look forward to seeing more stuff,

i was trying to find some old photos of some of my graff pieces i did they must be back at my parents i'll have a look for them when i fly up in a couple of weeks..

anyone else feel free to post your sketches drawings artwork up :drinks:

Hi, +700 guys, even if it's just a doodle you've done on the phone. Throw us some sketches! I've got the new Photoshop CS, but no AI...but I'm picking up what you're putting down on availability. 3-500 is a bit of coin, but I can really see myself using it. Maybe circulate the idea prior to Christmas... :D Cheers, Nik
