G'day guys Finally have the car running and driving but it vibrates a bit and is pretty noisy, so after deciding i just wanna drive the friggin thing i wanna take it somewhere to get them to look at it. Can anyone reccomend somewhere that i can get it looked at that wont charge me heaps and will know what they are looking at?.... Our families mechanic that dad uses quoted me 800 big ones to change the box cos he wanted to take the engine out. OR Can anyone think where ive gone wrong. Ive checked Diff to tailshaft flanges. motor to box. Mounts, im pretty sure are right And i didnt remove the flywheel or anything there. It sounds like i have got the mounts wrong cos it sorta sounds like the box is touching on the body and vibrating through, but i cant for the life of me work it out because ive looked at them 2 or 3 times! So any suggestions are welcome :) I wanna drive this car! Its been off the road longet than on since ive had it cos of this basterd.

just had a quick word to my dad, he said its a really good chance you've bent the clutch plate/warped it when its either come in or out.

sounds like you'll have to bite the bullet and take it somewhere, but if you need any parts ring before you go ordering anything.

Does the clutch release correctly?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I think it does, it doesnt seem to make any noises or anything funny like that.

Might have to do a alexxx suggested and take it somewhere to have it diagnosed/repaired.
