Hi guys, any preferred methods/items for the task of removing some double-sided tape without scratching the car?

Eucalyptus oil might do it Shiv. Perhaps turps, but might be a bit wary of that stripping paint. Give the eucalyptus oil a go first, apply some to a rag then rub in to the taped up area. With a bit of elbow grease and some further applications it should start to come off. Give it a wash afterwards to clear up any excess oil.

Wax and Grease remover will do the trick, or perhaps some prepsol or something similar.

What Chris said. Turps wont strip the paint. If it does, someone did a bodgy repair. Turps wont hurt 2k paint if you wash it off.

Hi,

I just use that orange power stuff. No harm whatsoever and it lifts stuff with minimal elbow grease.

Cheers,
Nik

As Nik posted above, I use a citrus cleaner too, called Desolve-It, can be found at Bunnings / coles / woolies etc..
