Well just thought i'd ask. Thank for setting me straight. While i'm at it and a little OT but what do the BBS rims weigh?

As a matter of fact they aren't that heavy.
I'll weigh my sapre rim and report back later.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Are you serious! They hardly clear the B4 2 pots! Have you seen the size of the Brembo's!

They won't clear ANY Wrx 4 pots or Brembo's.

Rob, i don't think you read the whole thread, they don't fit.

Farrrrkss sake Ams! Didn't you read the thread!
They obiviously don't fit under BBS rims! :P

Guys, may I add here.. The standard brakes on the B4, although you all bag them out, aren't actually too bad.. Have you ever tried jumping on the anchors in a Commodore or a Falcon? trust me, the B4 brakes are pretty good.. But in saying that, in all honesty, the Brakes on my Euro, are heaps better than the B4, and I only make 140 jiggawatts! lol Honda > Subaru brakes... :( kinda sad in a way.. p.s guys, i'm back in the market for a suby again.. gen IV GT..

They're not that bad,

but... compared to Brembo's they are.

From a bit over $2, Dad's STi (is the same weight as the B4) stops in bout 1/2 the distance.... with crap tyres!

I vaguely remember weighing my old BBS rims when i sold them and they were around the 10-11kg mark. People under estimate the BBS rims but they are far superior to most other suby rims out there. They weighed in around 3-4 kg less (each rim) than my 06 wrx rims i have on the car now. they are just a pain to keep cleen and don't allow for brake caliper up grade. A decent set of pads, braided lines and a Master cylinder brake stopper will give you all you'll need to stop.
Nothing left to break .

cracka, do you have one of those master cylinder stoppers? I have seen them installed on wrx's, but there is a lot more room on the drivers side strut tower on them without all the vacuum box paraphernalia. Do any companies sell these for B4's?

Only ones i have found for the B4 are the strut brace/MCS all in one type.
You could fit one like the rex with a bit of work i reckon like Alex did with his Gen II MCS
Mines a single turbo now so would be a lot easier
