just thaught i would post up a picture of my plastic dash surrounds now painted matt black to give you an idea of what it looks like

Much better. Very clean look now. What colour, type of paint did you use?

Much better. Very clean look now.

What colour, type of paint did you use?

hey thanks i am very happy with it.

paint i used was from a powder coating company (mr clean at padstow) it is called matt black (PC 32) i also used it to re-paint my wipers

Nice work Shane.. Do you have an auto lever on ur manual? Or a gear boot over your auto?

lol ML of course its a manual... cant you see his stealth hidden clutch pedal :ph34r: oh and the AT switch just to trick you some more :lol: anyway.. That looks real clean mate, what kinda prep work did you have to do prior to painting it? EDIT: my mistake, he has gone the super fandangled electric clutch.. thats why there is a button on the stick...

You just need to Paint your seats Blue and Black. Then yours can be as good as the Aussie B4's.

Rubbed it backwith 400 then 800 wet and dry. Plastic primer then 3 light coats then 1 heavy coat of paint

Unlucky I don't think so. Also I am glad I don't have that blue and black interitheir is shocking..anyway back onto the topic of painting

Yeah I used satin black. Looks very very good. Wet sand back, wait till dry and do a stack of light coats.

Go to Bunnings and get some matte black spray paint, some primer, and some 200-220 grit sand paper

Sand back the plastic
Spray over with the primer
Wait to dry
Spray with matte black paint - very light, even coats and waiting for it to completely dry in between.
