Hello. Im hopefully picking up/installing HIDs this weekend after one of my headlight globes busted last week. Im wondering where the best palce to mount/hide the ballasts are in the Outback. I understand the more hidden, the bettera? Pics would be ideal but words are also ok :) Thanks

Hey Morgan Ive gotta check why one of my HID's isnt working on the weekend so ill have my front bumper off for a bit and i can show ya where to hide them,as theres only really one good spot to hide them on the Gen3 i reckon and its hard to put into words. You can pick up those struts if you wish aswell??

as long as its not raining i can keep the bumper off till you come round mate,
but itll probably be round that time anyways

**i tried under the lights like the stock jdm ones but i had 2 sets of ballasts
and it didnt want to fit in and was still a bit obvious with the aftermarket sets

Mine are mounted on the bottom of the headlights, makes it a little akward to get the light out to change bulbs but its probably the best place to put it

As Shane said, best spot to hide the ballast would be under the headlights. No pics tho sorry. Kev.
