Subaru of America introduced a new release of the 4-door Subaru Impreza WRX STI model the principal. This is the first time that a Subaru Impreza WRX STI has been offered in two body styles (5-door and 4 door). In addition to the new style, 2011 WRX STI important features revised suspension tuning and wheel 18-inch light for sharper handling.

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI has been the recipient of continuous improvement since its launch. More recently, in 2010 WRX STI Special Edition overview suspension improvements are now migrating to the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Extensive chassis development and meticulously detailed, including the famous German Nurburgring Testing has resulted in better handling of Subaru Impreza WRX STI has ever offered.

New design for 2011

In front, 2011 model WRX STI bumper features sharp angles and, more broadly, blackened fog lamp nacelles on to highlight “the wide and low profile.” The front spoiler with a striking car in three dimensions, detailing the purpose sports highlights. Newly designed shell with a black base and blackened highlights fires Subaru wing forward together to give a more robust, highlighted by a grille opening greater consumption and bumper.

For model 4 doors, design new wider rear fender tail light lying on the outer side, highlight the expression of power and stability. Details of the new design contributes to the increased drag coefficient.

New chassis tuning for 2011

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI has become a highly optimized engine performance. Special chassis adjustment. Aluminum front lower L-arms reduce unsprung weight of the vehicle. Key changes include a chassis tuning ride height lowered and new rings pillow ball front and rear cradle bushings are stiff to support the double wishbone suspension – is to increase the camber and stiffness of the foot.

The front and rear suspension uses a rate higher in spring and thicker stabilizer bars front and rear than the 2010 model, 21 mm against 20 mm front and 18 mm against 19 mm rear. Spring levels rose 15.6 percent to the front and 53 percent behind.

New standard aluminum wheels feature a 18-inch high gloss paint and weighs 17.6 pounds. less than the previous standard wheel. The optional 18 x 8.5-in. BBS ® forged wheels aluminum alloy, which further reduce unsprung weight of the vehicle, which is underlined by the shiny silver paint to 2011.

Exclusive to the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, the performance Brembo braking system using 4-wheel vented Super Sport ABS (ABS disc brakes) with electronic brake distribution (EBD). Super Sport ABS can control the braking forces at each rear wheel independently, optimizing the braking ability during hard cornering to help reduce understeer.

2011 Subaru WRX STI continues the performance with a high-end corporate push 305-hp turbo / exchanger 4-cyl. Boxer engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The TSI also offers multi-mode Driver Controlled Centre Differential (DCCD) version of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with three “Auto” mode and manual mode with six pilots selected differential lock parameters.

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI is equipped with advanced systems for dynamic control, as follows: Multi-mode Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) stability and traction control is standard and features follow the optimized performance mode, Subaru Intelligent Drive ( SI-DRIVE) enables the driver to adjust the characteristics of a car driven by choosing among three selected modes – “Intelligent” “Sport” and “Sport Sharp” – using a line on the center console play.

Sporty, roomy interior and versatile

New for 2011, and the WRX STI interior finished in black and silver to highlight its sporty design. trim panels, steering air bag cover with wheels and a steering wheel switches Dark Metal discarded.
