Im trying to sell my car, and no one wants to pay advertised price.
Im asking $2800 now and get offers of $1200, $2000 and $2200.
Its actually pretty insulting, Yes there are cosmetic things wrong with it, and it has high K's and needs rego. BUT its not a p.o.s.
So what do you guys think? Am i asking too much?

It's a common thing, I brought my 2000 OBK for $7k which I think was a fair price, the owner was delighted as he had a long line of people wanting to buy it for $4k-$5k which was ridiculous. None of them actually wanted to keep the car, they were all trying to buy low and sell high to make a dollar. Dont get put off by them, there are thousands out there. Its actually pretty insulting
As said, your too honest, dont talk potential customers out of the sale.Yes there are cosmetic things wrong with it, and it has high K's and needs rego. BUT its not a p.o.s.
I recently had an ebay sale gong for over 6 months, once I took all the technical details out and replaced with "open to inspection" it sold within a week. I'm not saying you should mislead people. But let the buyer determine if the valves or paintwork is a problem for them. I'd give them every opportunity to come and inspect it and make their own judgement. In my case, ufortunately it turned out the buyer brought totally the wrong part and couldnt use it. But he accepted that he was ignorant and "didnt know". You need to find someone like that.
I also believe their is some legal thing with cars below $3k.... where there is not implied warranty or suitability. So you should be covered.
