I need to test a few coil packs, I know how to do it with the old school used with distributors but how do I go about testing modern coils that just have an electrical plug?

Similar way to old school.

Primary about 1ohm
Secondary (between posts as its a waste spark) about 15,000ohms

Best look up the specs as this is approximate.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
