RAYS FTW!!

Nah i didn't end up getting those TGV deletes. I forgot about them lol.

i actually already have them on my liberty (also used phenolic spacers) and was just gonna get them as a spare for when i get a new car.

The TGV's are designed for reducing cold idle emissions. once you car warms up the butterfly valve remains fully open allowing maximum flow. The reason for removing and using the TGV deletes is to allow for better air flow which doesn't need to pass the divider bar and butterfly valve inside the TGV.

if you believe the hype, they're worth 5-10kw apparently, depending on who you ask.

your right, probably not worth doing until you pull down your engine and do it all at the same time.

Wow.

Interesting power curve.

Did MS make any mention about why that curve is so choppy?

Good peak result none the less I guess. Nice and safe.

Lambdas look orright..

What's the safe limit of boost for a stocker 257?

yeah mate its just stock maps with the mods ive done, once he tunes it, it will be much smoother
quite suprised it got 200 tho

the pistons in these dont like much more boost, and they are quite picky in what oil they like too
if your going ej257, whip some pistons in if your going for a bit more power/boost

No 257 for me for now.

I'll be just rolling in a solid 207 with some herbs and spices.

Next subaru will be rockin' a 2.5L. But not a 257 ;)

Ahhh. Reassuring to know that its not tuned at this stage.

Impressive to get two hunge with some bolt ons!
