Should be a tube spanner in your little Subaru tool kit, I used it, and the wheel brace when I changed the plugs on my impreza ;)

There is no tube spanner with the GT,

Even the mech manual states that on the passenger side the engine mounts need to be undone and the engine needs to be jacked up to get clearance..

Pffft, on a 05 impreza you have to remove the grill, bumper and the remove the headlight just to change the parker globe... that shit is ****

so i just did a bit of a search also (back on topic) and the Bosch plugs get a fairly bad rep on alot of other forums.. dont last as long, rough idle after 20,000k etc... and to be honest, i agree... i am having the exact issue that are mentioned and i have the uberdooper $100 bosch plugs...
but WHY ARE NGK's so expensive for our cars.... my plugs are same as for the B4.. $21each is best i can find... grrrr
