Does anyone else use the clear? Or should I try heating them up before applying the clear?
Thanks Mark

use a good high temp paint and it should be good.
usually a good 5 minute drive heats the brakes up enough to bake the paint..
i would not expect that you need the clear.. no need to "protect" the high temp brake paint.

Auto shops should sell either 'engine enamel' or 'calliper paint' which are both resistant to high temps and come up with a glossy finish

But I used a more manly colour - Charcoal. Even has a bit of metallic flake.

We were using the clear to try protect the brembo stickers he got of eBay. Maybe he should just buy the brembo covers...

isn't the brembo logo embossed into the alloy ??Nah reds good. It is the heatproof paint, I only put clear clear on one caliper so I'll give it a quick sand and see how they go with out it.

The clear coat is to go over the top of the brembo stickers to protect them, because they're from ebay and they'd prolly fall off if they got hot. The stickers are there because if you're rollin' on brembos, you want b1tchez to know, right?

Considering i've never done it before, and didnt pull the brakes off, i think they come out alright, bar the one i put clear on
