Grats!

Meant to ask how much my repair cost when I crashed the RX but forgot when I picked it up.
I find it amazing how it all adds up. Visually, it looked like just a little nudge to your rear bar. Then $3.5k later....

Cool.

Always nice when a panel shop does a top job.

Have you have a really close look at it Alex?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Not yet. The whole rear bumper has been replaced so obviously that's good as new but i'm yet to get underneath and check everything is straight.

Being an insurance job they said they wouldn't take any chances and just replace anything that looked mildly bent/broken....suits me just fine ;)

mine was a 3k repair, replace front bar and cover, $800 in fog lights, spray and rest was just labor and clips n ****.. still gotta go back cause my guard liners don't sit right.. make sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb, else they give you grief on anything that needs to be fixed up again... trust me.. i know

QFT

Had to go back 3 times for mine because they used a second hand front bar which turned out to be ever so slightly bucked. 7 months after the repair it started to crack.
Re-sprayed the first two times and finally they got me a new bar - a week before I sold it.

mine they used all new, because its not worth the risk for most shops, cause they have to foot the bill on repairs and re-do's but still some things just dont line up quite right.. stupid guard liners.. they just keep claiming its cause i hit a gutter or something with the front bar (regardless of the fact i took it back 1 day after cause the damn thing came loose)
now a few months on.. its going to be a mammoth fight.. one i might just give up on

They gave me a 3 or 5 year warranty on their repairs. Being a MY10 i'd guess it might come factory painted? Not being an old model and all?

Maybe?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

doubt it, should come in black prepped, then they coat it fresh.

Hi,

As above, factory items have never landed painted for me.

I've hit heaps of **** too.

Cheers,
Nik
