Did you buy it in person over there Scott or internet order?
Does it have the magnatraction thing that lib techs have?

Hey Adam, were they well worn boots, rough life? what brand and how long did they last!

Saw 2 seasons, I didn't pay retail for them, they were awesome boots, 32, probably about 20 + days on snow I think.

Nothing glue won't fix!!

What is this magna traction? It sounds like something you have on slot cars!

Its actually quite cool and makes a massive difference. The edges of the board are not straight, they ..'wave' in and out, it changes pressure points and cuts through ice better. among other things? Its only really noticeable if you look down along an edge, not when you look at it perpendicularly.
Ive ridden one board with it, my mates when he got it in NZ. I could change from edge to edge SO quickly just goin flat out down a hill. Dont know what that was the effect of, per say though; as it might've had a couple factors, even the fact that it was shorter than my board..

I did put them next to a heater, but it was a radiant heater so most of the time the heat was going to the roof, and nowhere near the sole. The inners are what normally got put next to the heater.

I will have to go to my parents to pick up the boots, what's the warranty life on them? I think I chucked out the receipt too when I moved!!!!!!!!

ah ok. don't worry about the time since purchase, i got you covered. Send over the pics when you can and I’ll get it sorted for you…

FYI boots should NEVER be dried in front of a heater, fire or any other intense heat source. Ideally a drying room is the best place. Warm dry air is the best thing for them. The different materials ie: glues, eva, polyurethane, leather, synthetics etc all react differently when wet then heated up causing some to expand and contract at different rates and even cause some to break down. When the glue is wet then heated it’s also under high stress. Remember boots are designed to be in sub zero temps, not extreme heat so once you put the boot under all that stress the opposing forces will cause a boot to break down faster than it would if dried naturally etc

Thanks heaps mate!

I'll get them ASAP :)

Inners are fine to dry by a heater yeah?

I've found these boots actually stay quite dry! I love them! And would buy 32 boots again for sure! I was actually lookin at a pair of the lashed boots last year.

sweet mate, whenever you get a chance.

yeah liners are ok but still not to close. the modern materials that are used in boots and liners these days should dry fairly quickly without intense heat

On the subject of drying boots,

I actually saw in NZ they have these things you put in the boots overnight and they actually absorb the moisture.
