Thanks.

Nah i sold it on it had a gearbox failure. The car I am getting is actually from the guy who bought my forester. His wife wanted a more "family oriented" car. It has worked out well.

- Single turbo conversion
- 6 speed

Cheers
Martin

Win! Same goes for me in the not too far future, well single turb'd anyways, 6 speed may have to wait a while.

What engine you thinking of going? Or going to build one?

Nice car :drinks:

I have been told going single on this motor should be OK. I don't plan on doing it straight away anyway, i may end up building a 207/257 down the track but only if the current one is no good. VF34+ V3 sti ecu should be fine.

6 speed will only be if current gearbox gives up on me too. 5 speed is fine as far as im concerned and not a real weak point, I'm not tracking the car yet, and i won't be tracking it regularly. More just ****/safety factor when it has a bigger motor making more power.

Fair enough. I talked to Al and Miles at AM Auto about just going single with mine, they said it can be done cheap, however for my needs, we decided that a v3/4 sti front cut will be better for my end goal.

Anyway you go about it, hope the car looks after you mate. Hopefully you don't have too many issues with the twins.

Picked this up on Sunday. Very impressed with it so far. Still yet to give it a good clean. Runs very well, VOD isn't extremely noticeable but pulls very hard on the secondary turbo.

I have pretty much everything for a full single turbo conversion, only need the turbo and an ECU. I have intake manifold and a full V3 STi wiring loom. I think i might try and do this at christmas time when i have more time and money available to me.

First mod will be new tires i think, the current ones are getting close to the end of their useable life and since winter is coming i would like some more grip.

Cheers
