me and matt (STI_Lib) just watched a video comparing go pro hd camera's to a $4500 cannon dedicated video camera. Go pro was surprisinly much better.

Cool me and matt (STI_Lib) just watched a video comparing go pro hd camera's to a $4500 cannon dedicated video camera. Go pro was surprisinly much better.

Maybe i should invest in a go pro then

Looking at upgrading to a camera capable of video and photo eg 7D, 5D MKII

The newest 500D's are capable of doing HD video as well if you didn't want to spend that much.
You'll be able to look at all of these cameras on the day lol. Myself, Mark and Matt all have gopros, and Josh who's also coming (not a member on here) is bringing his 5D mkII

Also I've got my girlfriend's Nikon D60, and Katie (another friend of ours) is bringing her Canon DSLR (not sure what type),
and you're bringing all your gear...
So all in all, I think we're gonna have the whole day covered photo/ video wise haha.

Thats going to be a lot of coverage then. Ill have a look at the GoPro's on the day. Something i want to look at later down the track

Would rather upgrade to 7 or 5d since i have a 50D at the moment. Too many choices though cannot make up my mind.
