what turbo is it? sounds too big for a 2.0, wakefield is a pretty tight track, you only need power for the straight the rest of it is all bends!

I was thinking the same. Even then the straight isn't that long...

thats a big turbo for a 2.0! its effectively a TD06 20G with 8cm rear housing, will be good on an open track but wakefield only really has the main straight to open up on. won't be getting full boost until 4200-4400rpm without AVCS.

what was the damage to the engine? did you consider a new forged short block EJ207? as they are semi-closed deck and can handle 20+psi on a large turbo with no issues!

yer, if ends up to laggy for him, the stock td04 will go back on. he is saving up parts for a built ej25. he didnt consider the ej207 as thats probs as much as he paid for the car.

Hows a TD0620G go on a 2.5 with AVCS ala my car? What are your thoughts Alex? More driveable with 7cm rear?
