I've got one 16gb card, can fit plenty on there!
I usually record at 1080p @ 30fps, or 720p @ 60fps if i want to slow the footage down in editing.

As Mark said, I use a bodyboard leash, works well!
Also, make your own gopole Morgan, DIY that shit!
Here's mine, made from an extendable mop, sprayed black, with a bit of rectangular metal screwed/ glued on, then a gopro mount on top of that. And for security I use my bodyboard leash on it too:)

Made a basic one of these today Grant, works really well! Thanks for sharing!!!
I also had a quick go with iMovie and some footage I took today. I think it turned out alright might be bias though!

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.
