I've been running 245/18/35 Kumho Ecsta KU31's for over two years on my car without any issues on the driveline.

My B4 has Bob Jane Xenon Z7 I put on the week after buying it. I also had a chunk missing, the front were Bridgestone Playz and the rear.. some Chinese brand, getting low. Rang around and got the best deal I could. Local Bob Jane won... surprisingly good tyres for the money though, was only $680 fitted with a wheel alignment I think.
When I get some decent wheels I'll be going for something a little nicer.
Also, you want even rolling diameter on any 4WD system, I think you can go 2 different on the front and rear though? Just can't change them unevenly. Major damage would only be caused by running smaller diameter on one corner, or smaller on the front than the rear.

Dude, it's cool you've had a good time on those Xenons, but they are terrible tyres.

I think there is a law that your front pair must be a matching set and also your back pair must match each other as well.
Same size, construction, load and speed ratings.
Tread can be different.
Still a good idea to run at least matching pairs.
