yes i did have it that way and to my suprise it did not hurt that much.....

looks awesome shane... the authenticity would ad to the appeal of it.. the only probs i had with mine, was i bled like a stuck pig over the top of the kois forehead, and nose etc, and it stung like a BEEYYYAAATTCCCH over my wrist.. other than that, i would say it resembles more like a bad sunburn.

The one on my left arm took about 6hrs. The one on my right arm was about 5hrs (not finished). The one on my shoulder/chest/back has been about 8hrs so far. Probably another 6/8hrs and I’ll be all done...


I like your tatts Aek.
That style looks proper. If that makes sense.

I'm not a huge fan of coloured in tatt's. IMO they tend to look a bit tacky.


Cheers mate. Yeah I totally know what you mean. I mainly like the look of traditional styles in plain black. I originally just wanted to do outlines but my tattooist convinced me to do shading as well. I’m really pleased with the way it came it.

Some coloured ones look sweet but there are lots I’m not into


And Aek - I'm juz speechless about urs, that is AMAZING work!

Annnnnd I'm still wanting a few more... addictive... very addictive.
