That vid is smoke.
No question.

As a rule, white smoke = oil, black smoke = fuel

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

TMIC act like oil catch cans.

There will be a little blow by/oil in there.

I noticed when I had a TMIC, the oil smoke got worse when the car was parked on an uphill = oil seeping into the back of the intercooler, and into the intake manifold via gravity, and gave off a few extra puffs of white smoke.

Nothing to worry yourself about.

If you're planning to push the car harder, or go FMIC, a proper oil catch can will be the go.

Just cause no one touched on it, that oil should be more than sufficient :) Good quality 5w30 fully syn will be fine all year round unless you are tracking it or having long spirited drives in the middle of summer (which it should pretty well be fine then still)

Is it doesnt do it when the car is fully warmed up, then its just condensation. Also I believe that the catalytic converter takes a few minutes until its at the required operating temperature before they start to be most effective.

Just thought I should bump this to say that it never returned, and that it was probably just me being paraniod :P although I have started warming it up and cooling it down for a short while when I drive it 'hard'. It seems to start better when I treat it nice like that.

Yep..

My B4 had a bad case of it, and supposedly very common on Subaru's, that the seals leak oil through if you don't cool the turbo down properly, which then leaves a few oil drops in the dump pipe.. = The Smoke.

That was definitely oil smoke, and not over-fuelling.
