6.3 sounds better.

6.3 goes harder.

That's an interesting topic. The 6.2L looks better on paper; nice linear power curve (instead of the big lump of supercharged power), 2-extra gears and more top end power. But people who've driven both all say the same thing - the supercharged version is faster.

The old 5.5L develops more torque and reaches peak power stupidly low in the rev range. Realistically, its the faster car off the race track. Only issue I have with the one Josh posted is its got that stupid brake by wire system (which was dumped for the MY06 6.2L update).

Now AMG has a new twin turbo V8. Not sure how that performs but no doubt it'll be a beast. I hope it sounds as good! :D

Gents.

Best place in Aus to purchase a GoPro HD? Also, someone who has one, give me a low down?

Does it need to be hooked up to a computer to record? 32GB SD card, how much 1080 video will that record?

Hey Shazza,

I've been looking just this week to buy one. Off eBay (brand new).

Sorry I can't answer your question but if you want to buy at the same time, get a lower price and combine shipping, do please let me know as I want one of these badly.

WHO SAID SHIVVELRY WAS DEAD?

You my man. How we be!?

:walts:

I'm doing well, almost on holiday! :D

Shame to see your preparing to sell your Outback. Onto bigger and better things no doubt. My H6 is going to be tuned within the next 1-2 months so will be interesting to see how much extra power can be unlocked from it as well as tinkering with its drivability.

Brake by wire = aids.. I had forgotten that model had that! I wouldn't buy one just for that reason.

Maybe try one of these Shaz? Cant really go wrong at that price.

A bloke I know had 3 or 4 duct taped to a Group C car he was crewing for.
Watching the footage on his laptop, I was suprised at the quality.

I think I might get one just for lulz.

need help guys! pulled into school today, parked car, noticed enormous amounts of steam billowing out of bonnet. turn car off, look at temp gauge, everything looks okay.. open bonnet, coolant all over engine bay and engine...

on further inspection, top radiator hose has fallen off, on even further inspection, plastic part of radiator had cracked off inside the hose - and snapped off.

I need to get home so I can take mums car to work.

suggestions? I was thinking of trying to tighten the o clamp on the hose, further in the radiator, but I don't think there is enough surface area..

does this mean I need (another) new radiator? or is it repairable?

cheers.

I bought a similar thing to that off eBay about a year ago. But it looks like a tube type thing.

The quality isn't that bad. But the file sizes are ridiculous. I think 3 minutes of video was something like 600mb's. haha

Radiator is forked.

Top neck has snapped off due to age, common on lots of cars.

You wont be able to secure the hose to whats left of the neck well enough to cope with the system pressure, nor can you drive with the radiator cap on the first click (to stop the pressure building)as it will boil.

You could have a radiator shop fit a new tank, but its not worth it. Just get a new radiator and flush the coolant.

To get home you need one of these:

First gear and redline it the whole way home.

Let all the water out of the engine first... who wants water in their engine? hydraulic lock anyone?

:P (this advice MAY or may not destroy your engine.... quickly....... probably will :P)

A similar thing happened to mine. But it was just a small crack.

Buy an ebay all alloy radiator. (about 200 bucks)

Put it in.

Win.

(May or may not be as easy as it sounds) :D

I wonder why it snapped off? It was working fine before Nick.

I can order one of the GoPro HDs off the actual website for $299US, for the Motorsports hero.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

What's shipping cost? I can get duty free on mine when I go back to NZ :) and benefit of Australian warranty (if that bothers you)
