Walts, think about it this way.

Option 1) Sell BBS wheels, buy decent looking rims, and win at life.

Option 2) Invest $50 into shares into Colgate. Purchase $200 worth of toothbrushes. Watch the share price go up due to the fact you've just bought alot of toothbrushes. Store said toothbrushes and open 4 new packets a week (1 to clean each individual wheel). Spend 2 hours per week (104 hours/year) cleaning your wheels, only to have people on the internetz bag you out about how hard it is to clean your wheels, only for you to realize that by the time you've turned 80, you've wasted 8,320 hours of your life (499,200 minutes) cleaning, which could have been used for much more productive things (such as fapping/stalking/GTing) which will ultimately lead you back to Option 1. You will then end up selling your shares at a small profit, and putting them back into buying decent wheels. That, or dental work, because you've used up your stash of toothbrushes cleaning your wheels.

This is wrong. LOL

Shaz, revise said amount to $500.. that is the minimum share purchase...... Not that I see the point in buying $500 worth at a time when brokerage will set you back $19.95 and the chance of a price drop below the $500 mark at which point the ASX can sell your shares and post you out a cheque ($500 is also the minimum holding)
