Ok, so a lot too read, lot of opinions and a lot to think about

In reference to the STI or Ultrex lips, yes i do like them but im not yet prepared to pay and gett them over here for >200, i could buy an Integra lip, eventually scrape it to **** or break it and replace it for the same price

IMO, the First Blitzen gen3 bars are fcuking dog sh*t and the second one is the fcuking cats pyjama's, i looooove the 2nd one. its on my wish list but isnt quite possible in my budget

No i haven't lowered the front yet (anyone at all got hook ups? I need MOAR LOW urgently now!!), so would be more willing to take the risk of the ultrex lip after that bcos the integra one may be too low.
As i said my mate across the road has one, a 97' i think so i can check it all out before buying. I really do like the look of the standard typeR one
How are sure are you Nick that it wont fit ours?? Because these US guys that have done have said that the lips needed a bit of molding for them to fit -Ill check it out either way to be 100% sure..

Another reason for me wanting this lip is also due to the fact that im pretty sure no1 in AUS would have it!! and i like that idea of being individual..

I got the dudes from the US to take some pics/get some dimensions and **** and I just couldn't see the front lips matching. USDM, AUDM and JDM bars are all different (apart from Rev C JDM/AUDM).

Hey, if you wanna give it a try, do it man. Chances are somehow you'll get them matching and looking good. I just wasn't up for all the hassle and time and fiddling. I found a mint condition, silver, RSK bar to fit my car for less than $450 imported, so I took that option.

Or, you can try to find a Rev C AUDM bar, which doesnt have the front lip, from a wrecker or something, they shouldn't be too expensive.. but your colour might be tricky. Following that, buy your own lip, ultrex/sti/homebrew..

My two cents.


EDIT: As Chris said, they are USDM headlights. They just appear silver, change your indicators to chrome bulbs and you'll get a similar effect.

I was thinking maybe painting them silver.. No room for air horns, which my dad and I installed in his commodore engine bay!

Also I forgot to mention, the STi lip is the one I meant

Yep, Id attach black and then Pshop it to red to see what its like and maybe paint it when i'm going to paint all the other parts.

Im in ebay mode where something may seem cheap but really, the postage is shitloads to make up..

In reference to the headlights -no, i dont mean eliminating the orange from the indicator, i know of the chrome bulbs; i mean the black dividers or frames between each section are bright silver.. see what i mean? it looks great huh
