Hey all

now seriously looking for springs to lower Berty..been too too long!
Nick has helped me out a bit (ty)

So looking on ebay, found various options...Would be great if ppl could tell me if they will or wont fit :)

KSFL22SSL-"ultra low" fronts
KSRL23SL-"Super low" rears
What are peoples opinions on these?
-would any other setup changes need to made to use them? --camber, flaring guards, etcetc
-how low are they? --would the front be much lower than the rear?
-anything else?
All this delivered, $270. Mates could help me fit em

and wondering if these would fit:
Subaru Impreza Wrx Tein Coil Springs
seems like a bargain?
$400

Direct me to other options too please :)

Cheers guys

The imprezas wont fit, due to the gen3 having a multi link rear end.

I liked the king lows with the bilsteins that i used to have, sat nice and never really had issues

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Lovells do lowering springs to suit the gen3 libs. $240 I think they are and then get a good set of kyb struts or similar.
Pedders also do lowering springs and struts, a little more expensive ($100 a corner).

As the gen3s have the multi link at the rear, anything from a gen4 will fit, but not sure how low you'll go.

I also had this same combination on my Gen3 and other than being a bit bumpy on crap roads, was a good combination.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

lol so sorry, but this doesnt make much sense to me because impreza ones wont fit as you've said, so these king lows and super lows are frommm-? gen4? whats their part number?

King Springs 2010 Coil Spring Catalogue

King Springs 2010 Super low and Ultra low Catalogue

They will tell you what will fit.

The fronts in Gen3 are the same as Imprezas just shorter so depending how low you wanna go is up to you. I only had the impreza lows in mine and just sat above the wheel

$240 approx for all 4 springs, there's also a group on eBay that sell lowering springs for subarus. Just type in liberty lowered springs or something and they're everywhere. About the same price.
Wouldnt have a clue about struts, never enquired about them.

dude, I told you. i've got impreza lows in my front, and it scrubs pretty badly and sits on the tire wall, which is more then plenty. i don't know why you'd want ultra low, you'd be down to the rim!

the bloke i bought the headers from had lovells wrx rear springs in his, and it sat really really well, just above the rim. he has a wagon so i cant use the same springs he is so im trying to dig for some that will fit.

whats the deal with cutting or "compressing" springs? how does that work?

Mine are just AUDM Liberty Wagon springs dude.

Any suspension shop should be able to get them.

Shazza

lol man u never said they scrub, just that they tuck about a cm, im just looking into whats out there :). hahaa i wasnt seriously entertaining the idea of Ultra low anyway. I wonder if Super will not rub if i get the guards rolled out a bit? bcos I am aiming for the guard to sit just about in line with the top of the rim...any idea if the super lows are lower than the lovells?

dont know anything about compressing, but ive heard enough about cutting to say a big fat NO. Very dangerous and just all round really uncomfortable!

Dude it also depends on the offset off ur rims n tyre size... When I had 215/40 18 on my old speedy lite rims(+45) had no problems but as soon as I put 225/40 on I had scrubbing issues all-round n that was with impreza lows up front n liberty low rears

Really?

I think it would be easiest if you walked into a suspension shop and asked for lowering springs to suit a 2000 model Liberty sedan, tell them you want them fitted and a 4 wheel alignment, then hand over your cash.

2002 Outback - it's gone...

hehehee would be great if it were that simple. but imo, thats the ultimate position to put yourself in if you want to be ripped off? Im just doing my homework :). and another small pickle is my inability to drive to a susp place lol :(

Before u go buyin suspension, find out wat offset ur wheels are ( should be stamped into the inner side of the rim) And tyre size... Running the incorrect settings will cause scrubbing if u go low
