After putting in the teins this morning, I have tried to adjust the damper on them..

I read that they are 16 way adjustable and that you have to wind them all the way clock wise (tight) and then count the clicks back to eight and adjust from there, but don't go past 16 clicks or you could do damage to the Coilovers.

I wound them all the way in and tried listening and feeling for the clicks but there were none?!
I took it for a drive with the screws wound all the way in and was extremely firm and harsh, and then wound the back out so that the Allen key screw/pin thingy is about half way out.

My question is, how do I know how far to go for the best ride comfort? I don't want to ruin the suspension by unthreading the screw too far out.

Cheers for any help and advice.

Here's a pic of the front left strut, you can see in the middle part where there is a kind of screw going down into it wound by an Allen key.

Are they on the bottom of the struts? Old scholl ones where like that.
If not, they are missing/broken - http://teinusa-blog....ck-click-fixes/

They must be missing. I unscrewed one of the hex screws out of the middle part and it came all the way out, so I must be missing the top part that you spin with your fingers?

Ok because the teins i bought used to have the edfc controller and that connected, they disnt come with the click assembly, so I need the new click assembly from tein... It's under $10 but shipping is $40!!!
You reckon there'd be anything closer to home and a bit cheaper?
I'll search the forums, have a look at eBay etc.. Don't particularly want to pay that much for one little thing..

Little piece of crap...

Thanks for the link too Luke, Perfect info as usual!

Ahh, forgot about that EDFC.
And are the tops just solid mounts? No camber adjustment?

Fulcrum are the Stockists/Importers here - they suck. They never return calls, emails, anything.
I waited a week for them to get back to me with a price on 1 new collar and I gave them the part number - $50 plus postage...
From Tein USA* I got 4 new click assy's (only really needed one cous I snapped it off...), 7 collars (3 front and 4 rear - I go abit hard on them), 2 click tools and a click wrench - all for $150 shipped here.

* They won't ship here, even thou you can add parts to the cart, check-out thru Paypal etc, they send an email saying to provide a US shipping address or they'll refund the money. You need to set-up an account with a re-shipper (I have) and then have it re-shipped here.
You pay twice the shipping, but the US 'land' shipping is cheap, like $10, then FedEX or UPS can get it here in 3 days or so for ~$60 (depending on the size of the box, weight etc thou).

I was going to get a couple more collars, and maybe another click assy or 2 just for spares - I'll split the shipping if you want?

Yeah mate that's sounds really good, I don't want to be driving around for too long on uneven settings. For now I'll set it pretty tight so I don't damage the coilovers..
Id just need the 4 corners of the click assy and maybe the c spanners.
Just let me know how much everything will be.. Cheers mate. Thanks heaps.

Yeah but I don't want to go too far that's all. I'm not sure how far you have to spin for one click. So maximum 16 clicks I'm not sure how far you have to spin,

He can't get them to "click" without the click assembly's, so it's all guess work.
I'd just leave them as they are until you get new click's.

PM Sent, re parts.
