Just a little something ive been working on since Saturday...
I wanted my air vent back so I decided to make up a pod...
Its still a work in progress...
Day 1
Day 2 - Expander foam and shaping - Foam expanded more than expected so lots of excess...
Prepared for for more fibreglassing...
As it stands at the moment... More trimming and filler and plenty of sanding on the cards...

Finally got my Sti muffler fitted over the weekend...
Originally the exhaust shop wouldnt believe me about the 3" MSR mod and were only going to weld a 3" pipe to the outside of the muffler, They reckon its impossible that you wouldnt lose any power/flow because of the baffles... Had to show them the full thread and dyno sheets from MSR just to show them its been proven...
Still they persisted I am wasting my time and money, I just said at the end of the day it is my money and I'm paying the $150 to get it done and if im losing power then thats my loss...
1.5hrs later...
The muffler was sitting too low for my liking when I picked the car up... Their excuse was the exhaust would hit my swaybar??? I cbf arguing with them and just paid and left...
As soon I got home... Got the car on ramps, unbolted the muffler smacked the shit out of the exhaust hangers with a mallet and bobs ur uncle perfect fitment...
Old muffler
Also gave the car a wash & wax with Duragloss
Nice deep shine...

I had a 3" Hurricane muffler on it before, doesnt feel restricted, bum dyno feels the same just sounds different... Quieter cruising until WOT... Will put up a vid when I get a chance
