Would the brake upgrade be worth it over the stock brakes I have man?
Definitely mate... Ur standard rotor size is 277mm from memory... XT brakes are the same as B4 brakes which are 294mm

Mite get 10 or 15mm spacers (gonna get burnt here)
You know you'll either need to shave/chop the O.E studs if they are bolt on spacers OR get longer studs (ARP, Nismo etc)?
I've got 5mm all round and was thinking about putting 10mm all round, but might have to raise the car...

What about H&R DRS® Series spacers? they come with longer studs
I had 5mm spacer on the front in the lib that sat pretty snug on the hub

Front's are easy as, rears.... not so much.
You *might* need open ended wheel nuts too.
5mm is the biggest you can put on with the standard studs - you sure you'll need bigger than that?
I put ARP's in and can put like a 30mm spacer on if I want. That's abit big thou.

H&R make good but abit exxy stuff - the longer studs that come with it mean you still have to knock out the old ones and put the new ones in.

They may be a bit exxy but ur getting studs with it as well as alot of other kits dont. What spacers are you using? Cheap or exxy?
Well when I was running 225/40 on the lib it would scrub on the inner arch on full lock with no spacers...
I will most probably run 225/45 and If I use 5mm spacers it would still be +2mm higher than stock which could still make it rub but i think 10mm spacers will be ideal...
At stock height i MITE be ok for now i think without spacers... Will have to wait and see... Still need to repaint the rims first

If the price is right, may take these off you at Morgans mech/tech day and get you guys to help me/teach me to put them on!
also: are they the ones with the subaru decal on them?

Nah nick they aren't the fancy 4 pots which a bit of overkill for you... They are the same as standard B4 brakes which are pretty much the same performance just not fancy looking... I'll pm u about pricing

I was missing the luxury of having heated mirrors from the lib n getting sick of frosted mirrors so I did a little research and found these on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com....e=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Within a week they arrived
There's two ways they suggest to use them either replace the original glass completely or stick the heated glass on top of the original glass...
After i decide which way to go I will wire it up to the rear demister...

Ok, i think my transmission or centre diff is on its way out... Ive been getting a woooop wooooop wooooop noise during acceleration and deceleration for the past couple of weeks... Started happening after playing around with VY SS full of bogans... Took off normally then planted it and had a slight slip when it went into 3rd... Since then its been making the sound...
Anyone have any ideas?

alway always always change the gearbox oil if you are ever suspicious of your gearbox having problems, it is the best $$$ spent for such an easy task (bar pulling cooler off to get to it)

Lucky for me the speaker spacer is the same layout in both the lib and foz so i was a breeze to fit...
The tweeters on other hand were a PITA... Had to cut this and cut that to make them fit with the factory trim...
After some measurement and a little guess work and a hole saw...
After that I pulled the speaker grill off the old liberty tweeter covers and bobs your uncle, with a little persuasion and hot glue... It came up a treat...
