So I decided to fiddle with the subi, apart from some rubbish mufflers, I'm now packing a Plazmaman CAI..

The video doesn't do it justice, after being disappointed with the sound level the B4 produced, this thing in real life sounds like it's sucking earths last bit of air it has left to sustain any life.

I can hear it, does it have an aftermarket BOV, or is that just the sound achieved by going CAI?

Pics I'll get up soon for you, price..

Well pretty darn cheap.. Pod adapter sourced from Plazmaman - $55 delivered, with a K&N fitter I already had lying around.

Install took 3 minutes, and on the gen 4 once the airbox is removed its a big gaping hole to the guard, so cold air is a-plenty, still yet to feel the filter actually warm.

I was wondering if it was just the adapter. Yeh they are cheap. I was looking at possibly doing one with the adapter but enclosing it against that hole in the panel.

it's a biiiiiiiiig hole.. as in when you remove the resonator and then remove the airbox, it's a gaping hole. you can see the fog light and kick the crap out of it of you wanted to.. that's how big it is.

I remember how painful it was installing the in-guard hyperflow CAI, this thing is a piece of pis5.

next step is a metal intake pipe off the turbo, and a blocked off BOV.. Wog-ified Subi FTW hahah..TSU TSU Tsutututut...

I've seen the gaping holes the GenIV have when you have CAIs.

I'll wait till all the expenditure at the moment dies down, and then i'll start my build again, go down the path of the B4, but a bit more refined.

the usuals will be done,
- ECU
- gearbox ECU or shift-kit
- Exhaust
- Proper CAI
- Suspension

that should keep me happy for a while to come,
