Alex, Any different from the old setup in terms of feel? Is the MCS bolted to the tower lower down (out of shot) or is it supported only by the strut top bolts?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

same brace as the one in my liberty :)

having only ever had this type of MCS i can't really compare but it feels great IMO. It's not bolted anywhere to the tower but it's a BLOODY SOLID unit so doubt that any further securing would improve it's performance much

Yeah, similar to Aek's, mine is. Difference between the two MCS's? Nothing that I can feel with the seat of my pants. Both give a positive feel. I decided to not only tidy up under the bonnet, but I figured that it would be a more solid mounting on the strut top, rather than the MRT one.
