Hey guys.
I was reading through the paper the other day, and noted a small column to one side.
The article was reporting on the Austrian elections held last week, in which the author noted the success some far right parties have had.

The article then went into who these parties were, and what they stood for. This is where it gets a tad eerie and somewhat disturbing.

Here is an article similar to the one I read in the newspaper.

Here is some back ground:
http://www.cbc.ca/wo...ider000204.html

Now, I know this is all very small. But as Paul Kelly once sang "Small things grow into big things".

When you look at whats happening in the rest of the world;

Massive recession in America (Got Great depression much? 1930-1939?)

Russia's antics with Georgia (Someone say Spanish Revolution? 1930-39)

Throw into that, the fact that every western nation is worrying about the cost of crude oil, and that a certain small country in eastern Europe has a plentiful pipe line, and Right wing extremists surfacing in Austria (These parties are illegal in Germany!).

It all amounts to nothing really. But it is amusing how things are going in circles like this.
What do you guys think?
