I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Finally found that evil Bimmer motor.

http://www.fluidmoto...m/archives/7892

Made entirely from 6061-grade aluminum, this new velocity stack set for the E9x M3 was conceived, designed, cut out and assembled in-house at Fluid MotorUnion. Our system incorporates an Aquamist (care of Howerton Engineering) water-methanol injection system, which runs from the tank in the back to a specially-designed manifold that splits up the 6mm inlet to eight 4mm direct-injection nozzles, which are placed at the ends of the arms that stretch over each individual stack. The tubing from the manifold to the nozzles, just like on the DCM3, are fed through specific channels in the arms themselves. When all’s said and done, it looks like the grim reaper’s put his special touch on this system.

A 6 speed H6 would be cool. I think it'd be the only way to ring out the top end power.

Would it pull hard in 6th?

Cool.

That was bugging me.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Haha, if that's a joke at AMS' expense, I love it.

If you're asking me seriously, I don't know really. Mine is 5AT (which I still maintain is one of the best auto boxes I've ever driven) and I haven't topped it out for years, but, and I know I'll cop some flack for this (ugh) it sort of feels like VTEC power delivery, it really feels like a little extra shove come in at like 5k maybe a touch higher.

Reminds me of the S2000 dad had.

Haha, Dad's car was tuned by the previous owner, not much information was handed over with the car (BRIGHT GOLD CHROME RIMS - NUMBERPLATE WOOD SCREWED TO THE FRONT BAR!) but anyone who drove it/rode in it could feel it. I don't know. Coming from driving turbo cars pretty much my entire driving life, I can't really say that there's nothing to it, you can definitely feel it. If you can't you're probably a spaz.

Nik, when I used to work for Hyundai, there was talk of bringing it over. They were looking at the 4.5L v8 lux sedan, then apparently 3 models of the Genesis.

I think Australia will also be getting the Hyundai Veloster. They don't look too bad for a small, cheap car IMO. Hyundai have really stepped up their build quality.

They really have. Seriously some of the Genesis projects I am seeing at the moment from the states are awesome.

When that one is done I'll be interested, from the same people that brought us that insanity of a velocity stack on an e90!

Problem in Australia, is where the price point will be. It needs to be around the $25K mark.

It won't be though, it'll be $40k+

They reckon the 3.8L 6cyl gives a better power to weight ratio then a TT BMW 335i. I've driven one of those, and they aren't slow cars.

I went and drove a new Hyundai accent and elantra bout a week ago, and they were such nice cars to drive. Very very well equipped.

I was just thinking the same. Ahaha.

We haven't had a car challenge in a while. It might be time.

Most modified VTEC motor you've seen.

Sailor Magikarp Nik would be devastated he isn't in on this.

Not intentionally, as I'm usure of the origin but I chuckle when I hear it.

Somehow a H6 appeals to me far more than any turbo. Maybe it's my age or background, who knows, but I don't ever see myself in a turbo car.
Mind you, five years ago I was saying I would never own a Subaru.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Morning all.

This popped up in my auto alerts this morning.

http://www.carsales....10&vertical=Car

Hey Morgs, that would be a good price for that car, especially if it only had 120 thou on the clock. you would bargain them down a bit form that too :D BUT I have a feeling it may be a scam.... just sayin'

I don't ever see myself in a turbo car.

I'm glad I've done it. But honestly, it's out of my system now. My mentality has changed a bit, in that all I think of adding 'turbo' to the equation is doing, is adding another component that can fail.

SIMPLIFY MAN!
