Imagine being an Astronaut in the 60's and 70's. That would have been an awesome job.

Out of interest, what kind of mileage are you B4 owners getting from a tank of fuel( also what size tank).?

Sig worthy.

It's a 64 litre tank.

I usually use 50L's to get to the fuel light, which gets me anywhere between 380 to 420 kilometers.

I probably use a similarish amount of fuel, probably not quiet as good economy as what Walts gets though, given that it spends nearly all its life driving around Sydney carparks roads. Stop.. start... stop.... start.

Wow that's pretty thirsty. Do you drive it pretty hard? Or is that just nanna-ing around? That's almost as much as my 1900kg RB25 powered box of shit.
Hmmmm was interested to know before I started low balling Mr AMS.

Sig worthy.

Is that a dig at my age, or my alcohol consumption you fucker? ;)

There were some pretty big space rocket stacks that killed crew in pretty much any decade. I think the shuttle has been the most costly in that respect though.

Sig worthy.

Yeah I hear you Walts. Damn. Was hoping a B4 may have been a better solution to my heavy fuel bills.
Think I'll have to keep looking for that cheap Focus ST170 or even cheaper Suzuki GTi.

Sig worthy.

Definitely do not get into a B4 for fuel economy reasons.

Walts' B4 beats 500cc sport bikes, Ferrari's, what else was there, Tom?

Mine spends a significant amount of it's life on boost to get those fuel figures... I could probably improve them slightly by driving a little easier, but it doesn't seem to make like 50km worth of driving difference.

Veyrons Nik.. Veyrons.

Must be some bad drivers in Adelaide. After seeing the video of the guy in a 458 reverse off the line at the drag strip, I thought of you chopping him.

That's what I thought as well. Also cool that the entire Carl Sagan: Cosmos (over an hour) doco is on YT. Haven't seen that in years.
