Wow Alex, nice light work. Forgive me as I don't know the history of this build, but is that an LT Celica?

Sig worthy.

"
Filtering:

The large commercial breweries filter their beers routinely in order to provide the consumer with a crystal clear product. Unfortunately all that filtering comes at the cost of flavour. We normally don’t filter any of our beers that we serve direct from our tanks... We’d rather leave the full flavour in there, and you can see how it tastes direct from the brewery!"

That is quite possibly the strangest question anyone has ever asked me.

@Josh: Paraphrased: "We can't be Posted Image'ed filtering, it costs money and takes time". I use the flavour/colour strip line too - but if you're not bottling, I don't really see the point.

@Josh we filtered yesterday and I spoke to Mark about what he felt filtering did to the flavour. He agreed that it does remove some flavour, but he also said that for filtering does make for better storage. I had a side by side comparison between a just filtered brown ale and a non filtered brown ale, and the difference in flavour was very minimal. Almost more like a difference in mouth feel than flavour.

You'd have to be a bit of a connie to be able to pick the two, I would say colour is the biggest thing stripped.

In wine, unfiltered and filtered are night and day. Even I can pick them, pretty much as it's poured. The other thing is, an UNfiltered wine will age better.

There is a definitely a colour change. Our brown ale lost some of it's "brown-ness" and became much "redderer".

Dear God. What is wrong with these people? You can't make it look less like a bullet wound just by sprinkling it with jewels! It's not meant to be looked at. If they spent more time developing a personality and less time glitzing their fannies they might actually find partners less air-headed than themselves.

Guys, one extra thing that I'm trying to organise is an experience with the worlds largest cow. Had a meeting with her yesterday and we ran into a small problem...

Dumb and slutty is good to look at, and occassionally poke a bit, but it's no good for extended periods of time or interaction beyond physical.

So Nik, are you working next Friday?

Sig worthy.
