Car making wierd noises after turned off??

Hey everyone just wondering would anyone know what was happening to my car it started about 2 weeks ago when i turned her off shed make knocking noises and then i think the radiator would make mad bubbling sounds?? Anyone have a clue what this could be?

Thanks for the info got it towed to my mechanic anyway he usually does a good price for me. Was wondering what it was. I was waiting for my misses to finish work and it literally sounded like someone was banging on my car with the knocking sound. Engine off and everything I think my car is haunted :ph34r:
