So can someone fill me in on what happened with the whole FLAWLS incident? As far as I know, seller wsa advertising the car as something that it wasn't, big argument, banned, end of story - can anyone else share insight?
Use search on RSLC and ozliberty.
Its a long story.

Essentially made a lot of claims about the work he'd done on the car, forged time slips and dyno results. Was basically a wanker.
I agree that you should get rid of the plates in order to disassociate from the previous owner.
Do they need to be personalised plates though? They are just a registration plate after all. I suppose it depends on how much attention you want to attract.
Personally, I'd go for standard slimline plates.

the plate actually has a molded indent in the bonnet this was custom when he had the boot shaved. defs want the plates to be black and silva. not sure if i will personalize. just an option atm. if i cant find somthin good for 500 a year then i will just get standard content.Do they need to be personalised plates though? lol turbo conversion ftw. yea 500 is alot o money.$500 a year is a lot but really for no real gain... money that could be better spent putting towards a turbo conversion perhaps ....
The good old "FLAWLS" was a bit special, I think laughing at him was like paying out someone with down syndrome.
any ideas where should i try sell the 'FLAWLS' plates?

Ouch!
Sucks to be in NSW.
After numerous personalised plates to suit the cars they were on, I decided to get some thing that i can keep forever and just transfer it to the next car, hence my initials and birth year.

Yar.
Didn't you read the bit about the upside down inside out porsche gearbox, so that he could keep the 2.7ltr volvo valved engine and not explode the gearbox.
Oh and apparently its one of 6 STi GX's bought into Australia............................. zomg...........
BWWWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA
What a stooge that guy must have been. How many people actually believed his claims. As if it was stroked to 2.7 with volvo valves and a porsche gear box. Think I read somewhere that it had commonwhore brakes on it too??? MAkes sense given taht there is a severe shortage of great aftermarket products around...

How much would i be looking at for a good AWD conversion? Like good parts and stuff. As i only have a general idea about car mechanics, what parts are actually required?
