update on my tires...well all i can say is Fark Fark Fark...first customs got me for duties as the total came to believe this or not $1039.00. mmmm. now quarintine has them as the seller did not write this on the invoice 'the tyres are free of mosquito eggs and larvae, they are dry, and that they have been stored under cover from the time of manufacture until the time of export'. what a joke. so now i have to wait until the the wheel shop opens tonight and give them a call so that they can send a declaration or i will have to pay for an inspection. what a farken joke.

so for anyones who buys tires from overseas make sure the value is well under 1K as the exchange rate is done on the day the item is sent not when it arrives and if over it has the declaration on it for quarintine.

lesson learnt but i still end up saving $900 in the end.....

Damn that sucks! When i got my tyres from tire rack they sent them in two packages so I avoided that tax

Those wheels are incredible. Love how ridiculously lairy it is!

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Like Shano said If you import anything from overseas tyres, wheels, parts etc... make sure your total AUD value is less than $1000 to avoid any duties... Customs do the conversion on the day the goods leave the exporting country. So watch your exchange rates people.

Customs are also starting to crack down on people doing small multiple shipments in a small time frames to avoid duties... So be careful of this also.

If anything that comes via air or sea, make sure you have all your documentation to avoid any delays...
