I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I dunno how you can think you'll get it cheaper Morgan.

Considering the amount of work and the cost of mufflers/materials to do an exhaust on a B4, $2200 is lean.
I dunno how you can think you'll get it cheaper Morgan.
I thought $2200 was pretty resonable... Im not expecting too much dif in the prices.
A half assed job you will be paying less. I dont want that.

That's it, at the end of the day time is money and quality takes time. There's no real way around it.

Yeah just looking at my invoice I paid $2500 so in my mind that is reasonable.

Once you get a good look at the exhaust, you'll understand where the value is, they're tricky fiddly little bastards.
Haha yeh true.... even looking at the stock exhaust is bad enough...

Dont bother with ringwood go to autoexcess out in coburg

I paid $1400 for a mild steel setup, 2.5" dumps into 3" center with SS oval muffler sounds great and they have done a few B4's (mainly a few on ozlib) do a search and a bloke has just recently had his done in SS and looks fresh
Im around the box hill area if you want to have a listen to how it sounds.
Thanks

$2200 is pricey for a mild steel set up considering a full stainless system from either MRT or Hi-tech are around $2800
MRT and Hi-tech will make their exhausts on a jig, so time is greatly reduced. Thus the price.
As I said before, time is money, and quality takes time.
(Not to say that MRT and Hi-tech aren't quality, but to work from scratch it takes time)

I for one dont like loud zorst but i do like the boxer note, i am undecided what i will do with mine 2'5/3 and then into a 3 inch mid or both 2'5/2'5 into a 2'5 pipe. ive had 3 inch from turbo back on my cressida it was way to loud so had it silenced by a 2'5 mid section so its just right...

Jovi, 2.5 - 2.5 - 3.0 would make the most sense to me.
You need to keep the exhaust velocity up in the pipe, if the pipe is too big it has the same effect as if it were to small.

Silencing with pipe size is the wrong way to do it. If it's loud your muffler isn't right. You can have a free flowing muffler that isn't deafening. It just needs to be designed properly.

i silenced it with a smaller pipe and a muffler also created more back pressure turbo isnt spooling at 4000rpm its doing it at 3 now.

Considering the size of turbos and displacement is there really any benefit in using a large 2.5 dump over a smaller 2" or 2.25" pipe? Would the smaller pipe not offer better response and spool up, particularly for the secondary at changeover?Jovi, 2.5 - 2.5 - 3.0 would make the most sense to me.
