Yeah, everyone says that. It's nothing I'm proud of, don't get me wrong, I'm not ACTUALLY retarded. They were very surprised at the time, even they thought something was wrong, as I reverse parallel parked when they pulled me over.

I was more astounded that you weren't a pool of dribble and shit on the ground at 0.3 - isn't the "fatal" alcohol leven not much past 0.15?

I've been told that, and they did say it was the highest reading they've taken. But the highest reading in the state history is like just under .4. It's all about tolerances and the way your body is 'dealing' with the alcohol.

From wiki
The second column is behaviour. I didn't realise death was a behaviour.
The third column is impairment.
0.30–0.39
- Severe central nervous system depression
- Unconsciousness
- Death is possible
- Bladder function
- Breathing
- Heart rate

I intentionally left my car at home, and caught a lift with friends to town, because I knew I was getting smashed. Somehow convinced someone to let me drive their Forester home, which was parked, literally, out the front of the pub.
Manual too, I didn't even have a manual licence at that stage.
@Lukosh: Not the same visually, but I think that's because there is so much rain with it? So it's all melting pretty quick. Pretty nutso for Dubya Way though!

Going by that chart I had ten standard drinks to get to .31 - **** off, I drank constantly. Apparently I had 22 pints during the day alone (Alisha served me).
@Lukosh: yeah bro, named and shamed! I deserved it too! Not mad at anyone. I'm cool now.
In other news, the sled's insured for $22k. I could insure it for more, but I'd have to pay for it.

I'm not sure whether you're happy or sad about that?
