Hey everyone, Yesterday when i was giving my car a clean i noticed some strange wires, one pair under the drivers seat, another pair under the passengers. The pair under the drivers seat have a male and female connecter on it, which are disconnected, and the pair under the passengers seat are cur and only a short stubby bit is poking out. They seem to lead to the seat and maybe along it but i cant find where or what they do. what are these? why are they there? should i get rid of them? My cars a 97 LX wagon Liberty. Help appreciated muchly, Thanks, Ash

According to redbook.com.au, a '97 LX wagon did NOT come with any electric/headed seats. Your right though, it may be seatbelt light. Does the seatbelt light work?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

There are wires there for the seat belt lights, and I beleive there are some spares for the models that did come with electric seats. Only the drivers side seat has the seat belt light wiring.

Probably the same wiring from a JDM, look around - you'll probably find you have wiring harness plugs at your washer bottle for a rear wiper too (which is what I found - w00t! my rear conversion +1 point)
