Guys, I have just got the front of my Legacy fixed after my tree falling affair and have given the smash repairer a spare bumper I have had for a while which is GT-B design from what I am led to believe by the supplier. The smash repairer cleaned it up and sprayed it as part of the repairs so I could fit it with the new twin foglight setup I am picking up shortly, however he told me today that the top of the bumper is fouling on the underside of the headlights and it just won't fit. Now I haven't heard of this before so am hoping somebody here can advise if there is anything else that needs to be changed. Considering I haven't changed the support bar for the foggies yet, is this the problem ? or is there something else that I haven't considered. Obviously from what I understand this should be a simple job. Any urgent advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul

Only other thing that gets changed is the Grille AFAIK mate. Head lights are all the same.

^^^^^^^^^What he said, though they have a totally different support that should make no difference.

As stated, both bars will fit up to the front end no worries. I just fitted a GTB front bar to my GT. You will need the GTB support as you know for the GTB foggies. Change the support and you should be sweet. You have a series 2 grille also?

SO you reckon the GT support bar will foul the GT-B bumper, that's what I am thinking. Paul

If it has spotty brackets on the GT & they are in a different place to the GTB ones they will be hitting the surround so that would be the problem as that's the only difference, the top section where the bumper sits should be the same on all Gen 2's.
