I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Anyone keen on a "how to split a block" DIY guide? I got a short motor on Sunday and started dismantling it, taking pics as I went.

Dunno if it's any use, though, as most who'd be interested would already know how to do it...

If you have the patience and motivation to do one, it would be an asset to the crew on here that could be used for years to come.

I read through the DIY's just out of interest - but that's just because I am trying to understand more.

Too easy. It's fairly simple in terms of the number of steps. However, the case bolts (especially the ones in the cooling jackets) mean you need to have had your Wheaties before trying it.

Also: RIP to Dan Wheldon :( A very sad loss, and - even worse - completely preventable. :(
